Nicola Dibb
Managing Director

Nicola has worked in land development and construction for over 30 years in a range of senior roles in both the private and public sectors. A well respected development professional and the Founder of Women in Social Housing, Nicola has an unrivalled network of contacts as well as a unique perspective on what Organisations should do to be more effective in bidding for and winning new work. She has identified and procured high value and complex residential and regeneration sites in London and the South East working on behalf of Housing Associations and Developers. Nicola has also been responsible for improving Company marketing material, raising the profile of Organisations and securing them new business by building relationships that focus on their client’s needs.Read more

Cheryl is an experienced construction consultant and passionate about helping others in and out of the industry. Cheryl has been in the industry for over 30 years. Starting out as a Contractor’s QS, she has worked cross-industry for clients, contractors, and sub-contractors across many areas of the industry, including 8 years within the housing sector. Working with consultants, main contractors, and sub-contractors Cheryl has been successfully bid-writing prequalification and tender proposals for a number of years together with awards submissions using her knowledge and experience of the industry.Read more

Julie Sweeney

Julie is an experienced bid professional with over 15 years’ experience in bid writing and management within the Construction, Professional Services and Facility Management sectors. She has a proven track record of managing technically demanding and diverse bids across small to large organisations, including Tier 1, 2 and 3 contractors, ranging from £1m to £150m.
Julie has extensive experience in managing the bid processes from completing PQQs, SQs, DPS submissions through to the ITT stage. She can offer specific, relevant experience of working in the housing and construction sectors in both the private and public sector. With excellent communication skills, and commercial acumen Julie is currently working with NDA’s Contractor clients offering advice on technical content and ensuring evidence is presented in a compelling and compliant manner.Read more

Sam Bacha

With over 25 years in the industry, Sam is a construction and property professional with considerable experience of leading teams in the public and private sectors.  Sam has worked on a wide range of new build and refurbishment social housing projects, on behalf of a number of well-known housing associations. Sam also has several years of experience in the procurement and management of framework agreements for construction and consultancy services, including the evaluation of quality submissions.  From his roles in client relationship management, he also has deep understanding of the needs and aspirations of public sector organisations.  This invaluable insight provides added value to the writing and finessing of bid submissions.Read more

Jeanette is an experienced housing development and regeneration consultant with over 25 years’ experience working in the affordable housing sector on mixed-tenure new build estate regeneration schemes. She has extensive experience across the bid life cycle including the preparation of pre-qualification and full tender proposals. Jeanette works effectively with bid teams, providing bid co-ordination and creating and enhancing bid content. She  holds a BA Hons and Post Grad Diploma in Housing.Read more

Helen is a highly experienced bid professional, with over 14 years’ experience across both central and local government bidding. As a bid manager, she has led teams of up to 60 people, working on opportunities worth over £1bn.  Helen has extensive experience across the full bid lifecycle, from solution design and storyboarding to producing original content for written responses to reviewing, proofing, editing and sign off. Her strong communication skills mean she excels at working with operational teams to transform their knowledge and expertise into winning responses.Read more

Laura is an experienced development and regeneration consultant, with over 15 years’ experience in the private and public sector. Laura has been involved in the delivery of mixed-tenure schemes for the affordable housing sector and private clients both as a consultant and Employer’s Agent.Laura currently works with developers and housing associations to identify new business opportunities to create a pipeline of schemes and secure Homes England Funding. Julie has heaps of experience, endless creativity and lots of patience and offers a range of design services for both online and print, ranging from logo creation, magazines, websites, brochures, posters and leaflets to annual reports and corporate branding. She has a very keen eye for detail and is good at getting the message across when it counts. She has worked with several NDA clients including creating new branding and presentations for an affordable housing Sales Agent.Read more

Rajul Kanabar
Critical Friend/ Development & Land Consultant

Rajul has a wealth of experience in developing land and sites for both the affordable and private residential market. From initial site appraisal through planning, the construction phase and finally handover on a wide range of projects ranging from small infill developments to large multi-phased regeneration schemes. He is currently working with Local Authorities who are building and developing their own land. Working with internal teams to provide support and guidance Rajul has led on the Procurement of Architects, Consultants and Contractors, working with the procurement teams to ensure OJEU compliance using open tenders or established frameworks to ensure best value. Having gained valuable insight into how tenders are set, evaluated, benchmarked against the set criteria, scored and moderated, he is supporting NDA on critiquing bid submissions and providing a “Critical Friend” role.
Rajul is a Board Member of a London Local Authority LLP Company managing a PRS block with its aim to provide a revenue stream for the council.

Jane Charteris
Information Coordinator

Jane has over 30 years administration experience in Office Management, Senior Administration, PA, EA, and Project Support roles gained in a variety of sectors including NHS, Civil Service, Construction and Engineering. As a Certified Document Controller, she loves processes and procedures and supports the team with the administration and co-ordination of projects as well as managing the systematic filing of information and documentation. he also monitors and records our performance.
